Recyclothes

On average each person discards 68 pounds of clothing each year. Collectively the population of the United States throws 11.8 tons of clothing each year into landfills. In most cases, our old clothes can be recycled or donated for reuse.

Keep Albuquerque Beautiful has developed our Recyclothes program to help those that need clothes and divert them from the landfill.

Recyclothes is a Clothing Drive held annually  in partnership with local businesses. All Albuquerque citizens are encouraged to bring clean, reusable clothes to a designated location to help those that may need them. All collected clothes will be donated to a local organization that helps get the collected clothes into the hands of those that need them.

Bring your family to Hinkle Family Fun Center on Saturday, May 20, 2017 for a day of fun and to help our kids. Bring a bag of gently used clothes to Hinkle Family Fun Center from 9 am to 2 pm for the 6th annual clothes drive and receive a Mini Golf Pass.
