Buzzing Success at the ABQ BioPark: Keep ABQ Beautiful Celebrates National Pollinator Week

KAB Pollinator Booth

Our dedicated interns having a blast running the Pollinator Wheel.

March 22nd, 2023

Keep ABQ Beautiful (KAB) participated in National Pollinators Week by hosting a booth at the ABQ BioPark. Our dedicated team set up an engaging booth to spread awareness of pollinators' role in our ecosystem. At the center of our booth stood our new Pollinator wheel, a colorful and interactive tool to educate visitors of all ages about the diversity within the world of pollinators.

Attendees learned interesting facts about their favorite pollinators and realized how important pollinators are to our environment. From bees and butterflies to beetles and birds, our team provided valuable insights into each pollinator and their role in pollination. KAB ensured that the fun extended beyond just education by offering a variety of prizes, including our favorite wildflower seed cards!

As the curtains close on National Pollinator Week at the ABQ BioPark, Keep ABQ Beautiful is satisfied with our positive impact on the community and ability to foster a sense of environmental reasonability regarding our pollinator friends. We want to give a heartfelt thank you to all who joined us in this celebration of pollinators. We could not have made Albuquerque a more beautiful and sustainable place without all of you!
