Successful FixIt Clinic Recap

Over the past weekend, we had the pleasure of hosting yet another successful FixIt Clinic event. With over 65 attendees bringing in their broken items for repair, the event marked our fourth installment of this community initiative. This year, the venue was graciously provided by Queab Makerspace, who provided the space as well as coaches to assist people.

A huge shoutout goes to all the dedicated coaches who volunteered their time and expertise to make this event possible. Their contributions spanned a wide range of repair specialties, including appliances, electronics, bikes, woodwork, sewing, and more. Their efforts not only saved countless items from disposal in the landfill but also empowered attendees with the knowledge and skills to maintain and repair their possessions.

At the heart of our FixIt Clinic is the commitment to diverting fixable items from the landfill. Thanks to everyone involved—coaches, attendees, and supporters alike—we were able to fulfill this mission once again. Together, we made a significant impact in reducing waste and fostering a culture of sustainability within our community.

We extend our sincerest gratitude to all who participated in making this event a resounding success. We look forward to continuing our efforts in promoting repair, reuse, and waste reduction in the future.
