Balloon Fiesta Recycling Program

Keep Albuquerque Beautiful is focused on fostering growth through its partnership with Albuquerque Institute for Mathematics and Science (AIMS) students. Together, we will continue their impactful initiative of emptying over 80 recycle bins at the world’s largest balloon festival. This collaboration not only promotes environmental stewardship but also empowers the students.

To support the growth of this initiative, KAB provides an annual grant to participating students. The funding offsets the costs for their attendance at two significant annual conferences: The New Mexico Model United Nations Conference and the YMCA New Mexico Youth and Government Conference. KAB seeks to nurture the growth of STEM education and environmental activism among students while also supporting their academic and extracurricular endeavors.
