Fall FixIt Clinic

Keep Albuquerque Beautiful, in partnership with Quelab Makerspace and Fuse Makerspace, is excited to host this year's fall Fix It Clinic! This free, all-ages event provides a unique opportunity for participants to bring their broken household items—such as bikes, small appliances, electronics, and sewing projects—and learn how to repair them with the guidance of experienced coaches. Instead of sending these items to the landfill, attendees will learn valuable skills in assessing, disassembling, and fixing their belongings.

The FixIt Clinic is more than just a repair event; it’s an educational experience that fosters sustainability and creativity. Last year, we had 31 coaches assist 69 participants in diagnosing and repairing their items, with attendees expressing high satisfaction from the hands-on, expert assistance they received. In response to the increased interest, we're hosting a fall Fix It Clinic this year in addition to our annual spring event.

Join us for a day of learning, problem-solving, and community building as we work together to give new life to broken items and reduce waste in Albuquerque!

Residents interested in getting an item fixed can register on the One Albuquerque Volunteers Fall Fix It Clinic - Registrants page.

Interested coaches can sign up to volunteer on the One Albuquerque Volunteers Fall Fix It Clinic - Coaches page.
