One Albuquerque Cleanup Month -- NW quadrant

Join the City’s Solid Waste Management Department and Keep Albuquerque Beautiful for the 2nd annual One Albuquerque Cleanup Month. After collecting 94,860 pounds (more than 47 tons) of trash in all four quadrants of the City last year thanks to our 732 volunteers, we’re doing it again but we need your help! Gather a group of friends or neighbors and register to clean up your neighborhood, park, or other area that needs it in honor of Earth Month. With your help we can all work together to keep Albuquerque clean and beautiful.

We will provide each group that registers with garbage bags and gloves for their cleanup. If you need help finding an area to clean up, we can help you with that! We’ll be providing maps of nearby parks and trails at the central drop-off location each Saturday. The central drop-off locations will also be where each group will need to bring their trash so Solid Waste can collect and dispose of it.

April 30: from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.

  • Central trash drop-off location:

    • Mariposa Basin Park/Taylor Ranch, 4900 Kachina St NW

  • Registration Deadline: April 27

  • Supply pick up: April 28 from 11 am - 1 pm
