Fixit Clinics

Keep Albuquerque Beautiful, in partnership with Fuse Makerspace, is excited to host this year's Fix It Clinics! This free, all-ages event provides a unique opportunity for participants to bring their broken household items—such as bikes, small appliances, electronics, and sewing projects—and learn how to repair them with the guidance of experienced coaches. Instead of sending these items to the landfill, attendees will learn valuable skills in assessing, disassembling, and fixing their belongings.

The Fix It Clinic is more than just a repair event; it’s an educational experience that fosters sustainability and creativity. Last year, we had 31 coaches assist 69 participants in diagnosing and repairing their items, with attendees expressing high satisfaction from the hands-on, expert assistance they received. In response to the increased interest, we're hosting a fall and a spring Fix It Clinic.

Join us for a day of learning, problem-solving, and community building as we work together to give new life to broken items and reduce waste in Albuquerque!
